ADCDAfter giving an outstanding performance at the 2015 Grammy Awards, AD/DC announced that they will start the “Rock or Bust” tour in North America starting August 22. Fans of the hard rock legends are beyond ecstatic.

According to Brian Johnson, frontman for the band and Angus, guitarist, the band will once again take the state. While bassist Cliff Williams will be a significant part of the tour, two other members will be absent to include Phil Rudd and Malcolm Young.

The “Rock or Bust” tour is slated to open in Foxborough, Massachusetts and have its final leg of the show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California on September 27. Tickets for all shows can be purchased through Ticketmaster on February 15, excluding one at the AT&T Park in San Francisco scheduled for September 25.

The tour is named after the LP recently released by the band. Prior to hitting North America, AC/DC will begin the tour in Holland on May 5, which will go through the latter part of July. Prior to the officially start of the tour, the band will be at The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as a headliner on April 16 and 17.

There are multiple songs on the play list to include the mega hit single “Rock or Bust”. In addition, the band’s famous song “Highway to Hell” is also part of the set. Before their performance at the 57th annual Grammy Awards, the band had not had a televised performance since 2001.

In addition, the album entitled “Black Ice” was the first studio album produced by AD/DC since 2008, which debuted Stevie Young, rhythm guitarist who took the place of founding member Malcolm Young, his uncle. Suffering from dementia, Malcolm retired last year but then last November, Phil Rudd was arrested in New Zealand on charges of a threat to commit murder and drug possession.

However, just one month following his arrest, Rudd told reporters that he was planning to return to work with the AD/DC band, regardless of what anyone wants or likes. Obviously, with him being excluded from the “Rock or Bust” tour his words mean nothing. Filling his spot as drummer will be Chioris Slade.

Some of the other North American cities on the schedule for the tour include East Rutherford New Jersey, Quebec City Ontario, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Moncton, Edmonton Alberta, Vancouver British Columbia, and Ottawa Canada, and Chicago Illinois.
