"Black Friday Sales"

It’s that time of the year again, so prepare your wallets.

It’s that time of the year again, so you can mark your targets as best Black Friday deals are revealed. The best day of the year for shoppers is quickly approaching and with so many different options to choose from, it can prove difficult to find the best deal.

If you want to find unique deals, you might want to take a look at a list compiled by WalletHub, a website for personal finance. They took a look at 8,000 deals in 30 big U.S. retailers and their report was released on Monday, titled the Black Friday Freshness Report.

The best deals from retailers start with an average discount of 68% from JCPenney, especially for accessories and apparel, but also on appliances, consumer electronics and toys. Kohl’s is up next with 67% discounts for the same categories. Stage Stores and Groupon offer discounts up to 64%, while Belk reaches 60% off for consumer packaged goods, toys, apparel and accessories, appliances and consumer electronics.

Their analysis was also based on comparing the rate of repetition of deals of the most popular retailers, but also the differences of prices between 2014 and 2015. It also seems that the average discount for the holidays in 2017 is 40% off.

WalletHub also proved the existence of many copied Black Friday deals at a rate of about 11%. Staples showed the least repeated deals, with 5.1%, while Big Lots topped the list with 16.4% of current offers. Other retailers that topped the list were: Costco with 16.3%, Best Buy with 14.6%, Ace Hardware with 15.5% and CVS Pharmacy with 13.3%. Among the ones with low percentages, we can find JCPenney with 5.3%, Wal-Mart with 7.9%, Target and Kohl’s with 9.4% and Amazon with 10.2%.

Last but not least, WalletHub discovered that the category with most discounts is jewelry across all retailers, reaching the staggering score of 73%. At the other end is the computer and phone category, with only 31%.

People are in need of unique deals and they search for new ones each year. WalletHub also stated that the shopping survey conducted by BestBlackFriday.com showed that 81% of the people who answered couldn’t see improvements in deals from previous years.

Now that the best Black Friday deals are revealed, you should make the most out of it thanks to WalletHub!
