Emojis have spread in our daily communication like wildfire. There’s barely any message that’s not completed by one of the so-familiar faces or symbols. But while they’re relatively readily available when we communicate from our phones on Viber, Whatsapp, Messenger or Skype, they are shilly hidden behind many clicks when it comes to desktop applications.

EmojiWorks is not a new concept. It is however, the first to become reality and readily available for sale. A conventional QWERTY keyboard on a normal day, it will switch to a real emoji keyboard on demand. The emoji machine is activated by a software. Upon installation, you can use EmojiWorks any way you like.

Keys work as normal alphabet letters, punctuation signs and numbers until the magic happens. Then, pressing any key will generate the emoji in all its splendor to decorate your text. With the software, EmojiWorks can even change the skin tone of the emojis according to your preferences.

EmojiWorks, the QWERTY keyboard with emojis is made available in several variants. It depends on what you deem necessary for a full set of emojis. A Standard EmojiWorks features 47 emojis. A Plus EmojiWorks features 94 emojis. The most complete sports 120 emojis and dubs as EmojiWorks Pro. Plus and Pro allow the emoji shift key to alternate between the different sets.

According to the announcement, EmojiWorks fits all needs. It supports iOS via Bluetooth, Mac and of course Windows.

If EmojiWorks looks a lot like Apple’s wireless keyboard, that’s because it does. Except for the plastic encasing instead of aluminium, even the emoji sets’ design is that of Apple. Currently, all three versions of the emoji keyboard are up for pre-order. Come December 1st, they may start shipping away. However, that depends on production lines.

If you’re looking for the price tags, the standard model is up for 80 dollars. EmojiWorks Plus is up for 90 dollars, while the Pro model is 100 dollars. It certainly isn’t a bargain. It’s not a fortune either. It all boils down to how much you need EmojiWorks in your life.
