Final Fantasy XV DLC and multiplayer mode details revealed.

Final Fantasy XV has been the most successful entry into the game series in the last few years. If you managed to finish the game, then Square Enix has recently launched a new patch for the game which brings it to version 1.05, adding several additions like a Booster Pack and DLC for the holders of the Season Pass. However, the company also revealed some details for upcoming story DLC and the multiplayer mode.

Like most other major games, Final Fantasy XV wants to keep gamers playing with the addition of both single-player story-driven DLC as well as through a new multiplayer mode. Square Enix has recently revealed more details about the Final Fantasy XV: Episode Gladiolus.

This DLC allows users to assume the role of the Gladiolus, one of Noctis’ friends and party members, and experiencing the world through his perspective. According to the official description of the DLC found on the official website of the game, the DLC will include a separate story as well as a different type of gameplay, without offering any specifics of how different it will actually be. It is unlikely that the developers create a separate combat or exploration system for just a DLC.

The story will take place sometime during the events of the main game, where the character will leave the party to receive training. The DLC will focus on this part and will cost $4.99 as a standalone expansion. The DLC is included in the Season Pass as well as other DLC such as Episode Ignis, Prompto, as well as the Comrades multiplayer mode.

The mode will involve players creating avatars instead of using the four main characters. It will also tie in with the events of the main story. No other details about the game’s multiplayer mode were revealed at the moment. However, the game’s director, Hajime Tabata revealed that he wants to focus on a more seamless multiplayer experience where players can drop in and out of the game as they want while focusing on their adventures with their friends instead of those of Noctis and his party.

What do you think about the Final Fantasy XV’s DLC and multiplayer news?
