The person who created the Bill memes and Bill’s Facebook page is a Moldovan man based in Italy, called Eugeniu Croitoru. Croitoru stated that Bill is every person who doesn’t do annoying things and who has a lot of common sense. The creator of Bill also said that it is important to know that Bill makes jokes about other persons, but he also makes a lot of jokes about himself as well. Apparently, Debabrata Nath helped Croitoru make the Be Like Bill memes. The idea of the Facebook page for the Bill memes belongs to Croitoru, who got the idea when he posted some very similar memes on his Videogamemes page. The memes posted there were very popular, so he decided to take things to another level.
People seem to really like these memes, and they have started to personalize the existing memes, by replacing the name Bill with their own names when the meme describes a situation on which they very much agree. Don’t exaggerate though, as some people tend to get annoyed at these types of things. The meme creator called Be Like Me by Blobla is now very popular, mainly because people can replace Bill with any name they like under the sun.
