The hype around “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is unbelievable considering that the movie will be released in March next year. There were a lot of interviews, trailers, spoilers and theories going on about how the storyline is going to develop, how actors are going to perform and about how future movies are going to illustrate or reshape some of the DC Universe that we know and we are so in love with.
So let’s just look at a small recap at the most interesting features that have developed due to the future release of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. We want to look at everything: production, actors, characters, storyline and what might result from them. So buckle up because we have a lot to talk to and little time, or space.
First of all, Warner Bros. have hinted that the production of “Man of Steel 2” might be handed out to George Miller, which could shift the entire perspective for the movie. After his recent success with mad Max, Miller seems to be the perfect candidate to direct “Man of Steel 2” as Zack Snyder has taken particular interest in the following “Justice League Movies”.
Secondly, there is still a lot of debate around whether Ben Affleck is suitable to be our new Dark Knight. While Affleck’s general performance is not appreciated by the public, we might still be proven wrong about him. After all, it is not only Affleck’s job to give batman life, it is a question about the storyline and how the environment is created for him as well. So, if we like it or not, Affleck might be a good Batman.
Coming up next is Doomsday, making an unusual appearance from “the remains of Zod’s body”. This one is trick and extremely vague, not only because we are unsure of it, but because a reanimated Zod would actually prove to be the only “threat” that everybody is talking about. How else can Batman and Superman but aside their differences and team up with Wonder Woman? Maybe we’ll get a Darkseid? Too early, still.
And then there is the Joker, who fans believe is the reanimated Jason Todd. Why Jason? Because of the “Batman v Superman” trailer and the released Joker photos from “Suicide Squad” coming up next year. Robin’s suit has two holes on each shoulder which coincide with wounds on the Joker’s body? Is it just fan boys or can it be real? We will find out soon enough.
That is everything worthy of mentioning, but who knows what fans might come up with next? If you have your interesting theories, please share them with us in the comments below.
