The Evernote update brings the app to version 8.0, which is now available to download for all iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPad and even the iPod Touch. The main aspect of the new Evernote update consists in an interface redesign which seeks to enhance the experience of users by providing both speed and simplicity to their activities. The company went as far as reimagining the entire app from the ground up in order to help people stay organized.
The release of the Evernote update was preceded by the release of a video which shows all the new features that are coming. The most notable elements of the newly redesigned note-taking app include the capacity to add several styles and colors to your notes, to start new notes with just one tap, as well as findings previous notes more quickly and avoid scrolling through your massive library.
This is possible thanks to the new update navigation system which has completely removed the previous home screen. Thanks to its removal, users who install the Evernote update will be able to see their most recent notes in a short summary. From there, you can easily tap on whichever one you want start continuing your note taking.
Additionally, the list of notes has become easier to scan and locate specific notes throughout it. The notebook selector is still easily accessible to all users who want to sort through their notebooks specifically.
Other features included in the 8.0 Evernote update include additional search functions. For example, one search feature allows users to bring up notes with reminders in them with just a single tap, while another pulls up all the notes with specific tags in them. The new design also includes a big button in the middle of the bottom menu. Pressing it for slightly longer than normal will allow users to access several options such as recording an audio or snapping a photo.
