John Boehner Bartender Was Planning to Poison Him

The former bartender of John Boehner once made plans to put poison into a drink of the Speaker of the House, or shoot him then drive away, said authorities.

Amongst the reasons that were driving the alleged plot were voices that bartender Michael Hoyt, said were telling him that Boehner was evil.

He thought the Republican, who is from Ohio, was the devil. He blamed the politician for the outbreak of Ebola and thought Boehner was mean to him.

Hoyt, who is 44 and from Ohio, was indicted last week for allegedly planning to murder Boehner, a plan he made after he was fired from his job at a country club.

Kevin McCarthy the Majority Leader of the House said Wednesday that Boehner had not mentioned the threats by Hoyt to any of his colleagues.

McCarthy added that the man needed a great deal of help and Boehner needed to be protected.

The incident came to light last October when Hoyt called police and told them he was Jesus Christ and would be killing Boehner because the speaker had been mean to him and because he had been responsible for the Ebola virus outbreak.

Hoyt told police he had a loaded .380 Beretta automatic and would shoot Boehner then leave.

Police said that Hoyt also sent an email to the wife of Boehner on two occasions.

In one email, Hoyt wrote to Debbie, Boehner’s wife, that if he intended on killing Boehner he would have poisoned his wine many times at the country club.

Police added that Hoyt had said he had heard voices telling him that Boehner had been evil and that he wanted everyone to know that the Republican from Ohio was the devil.

Hoyt also believed that Boehner had been a part of a group of patrons at the country club who complained about the way he had been serving them and was fired from his job.
