LG Electronics is on set of launching the G4 suite: flasghip model G4 and the low-budget versions G4 Stylus and G4c.
The two spinoffs of the G4 model are intended for the global market where customers wouldn’t necessarily have the buying power for a flagship model. The suite of phones comes with distinguishable characteristics and is adapted to a variety of needs.
Firstly, the sumptuously leather-clad G4 is the leader of the game. It is set to be launched in key markets around the world today. In a first phase, these include Turkey, Russia and Singapore. Later, the slick smartphone will hit U.S. market and the European one.
CEO Juno Cho called G4 the most ambitious smartphone that LG designed so far.
“Our vision is to create our own set of standards without worrying about what trend other smartphones are following. We think we have a winning formula because the initial reaction to the G4 has been tremendously positive”.
The technical features of the G4 are also quite glimmering along its design. It presents a 5.5 inches screen and a Slim Arc design that offers users a better grip and a definite increased protection when accidentally dropped. The G4 comes in six colors, or for those who are pickier and are looking for a more personalized experience, they have a range of 3D patterned materials to choose from.
The sealing feature of the smartphone is the 16-megapixles sharp rear camera. The front camera boasts 8-megapixles allowing an incredible video and photographic experience for the users.
The smartphone is delivered with a removable microSD card and sports the newest Snapdragon 808 processor. Quick and efficient charging is provided by the 3000mAh battery.
In comparison, the G4 Stylus and G4c, the less pricey versions feature 3D pattern covers and the same Slim Arc design.
However, the G4 Stylus has a 5.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 per 720. Its camera only supports 13-megapixels in the LTE version and 8-megapixels in the 3G version. The ppi is 258 for G4 Stylus.
G4c has a smaller display of five inches. The incorporated camera features eight megapixels, and the ppi is 294.
Both the G4 Stylus and G4c come with 1GB of RAM and are equipped with 8GB of storage. By comparison, the G4 flagship model boasts 3GB of RAM.
Of course, the price-friendlier versions address markets where these phones are really needed. It is not to say that their quality suffers, just that they are version that is stripped down of some expensive features.
G4 Stylus is set to be released in Europe and then in the American at the end of this month. G4c will be launched next month in targeted markets of Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
